Serving Ages 0-13
Our classrooms are designed by updated scientific and research based learning guidelines for early childhood education. Children experience an interactive curriculum and hands-on activities that help develop their interests and explore their talents. We help their critical thinking and problem solving skills flourish by actively working with our students and guiding them as they explore their independence and decision making skills. Our infants and toddler classroom is aligned with the New Jersey Birth to Three Learning Standards and Infant/Toddler Curriculum. These young students transition into our preschool and pre-k programs which align with the New Jersey Preschool Learning and Teaching Standards and the Union City Board of Education Early Childhood Program inspired by The HighScope Curriculum.
Programs
The Tiny Seed collaborates with various programs to enhance the experience for our members providing additional services:
- The Union City Board of Education’s Early Childhood Program to promote learning through scientific and research based learning.
- Grow New Jersey Kids renowned Quality Rating Improvement System to monitor our center’s performance in managerial, educational, and general child care services. Grow NJ Kids has awarded The Tiny Seed with an exclusive star rating for exceptional performance and meeting rigorous criteria.
- The Urban League of Hudson County to provide parents with subsidy child care assistance and parent education resources.
- The Child and Adult Care Food Program sponsored by the State of New Jersey’s Department of Agriculture to provide complimentary meals to our children that abide by nutritious guidelines.
- Prevent Child Abuse New Jersey for routine evaluations in order to ensure our center continues to provide an excellent early childhood education program and general child care services.
